The Princeton Chorus series are, (since the 80's), solid-state amps with ample power and very well rounded speakers. You are given the standard two input option common on many Fender Amps. Also you have both a mono and stereo FX loop, foot switch jack and a headphone output. The model that I own, (approx. '90), delivers 125 solid state watts of power and is plenty enough to compete with much more powerful and larger amps. On your clean channel you have volume, bass, mid, treble, and reverb controls. On the distorted channel you have gain, limiter, presence, and volume controls as well as a mid boost switch. Then you have the chorus settings which includes a rate and a depth control. One odd thing about the way this amp works is that the clean channel EQ section and the reverb control remain in use when you switch over to the distortion channel. This makes both the mid boost switch and the presence control in the distortion section very important if you intend to use the onboard distortion channel. I would personally suggest staying on the clean channel all the time and using an external distortion pedal or multi-effects board. The chorus is pretty good overall being a very limited and cheap factory installed ho-hum chorus. The reverb is your typical spring reverb and it...well...it's reverb.

Dean Markley DMC-80 - Strong Solid State Amp
Dean Markley DMC80 Stereo/Chorus 2x10. The amp is 100% Solid State, 50watt X 2..100 watt output. It has a Tank Spring Reverb, and Chorus. Very Loud for a Combo amp. The review by Moosehermans information was Wrong..this amp do not have any other effects than the Reverb and Chorus(He must of been thinking about a different amp when he wrote his review) I rate the characteristics of the Dean Markley DMC80 Guitar Amp at a Strong 8.
Fender Princeton 112 Plus - Excellent surprise!
I needed a backup amp and thought about a basic solid-state amp that wasn't heavy and fitted in my car's trunk. I went for this 1996 solid-state Fender Princeton 112+, made in USA, rated at 65 watts, with a 12" speaker, and weighing 31 lbs, which has perfect looks for its age. In terms of controls, it features two channels with separate EQ, reverb (not amazing, but correct), FX loop, and headphones output on the front panel. Nothing other than the usual.
Vox Pathfinder 10 - Great for practicing and small gigs
This little Vox is a transistor amp with 15W (according to the label at the back of the amp, but some people say it's 10W...), one input, and one 6.5' speaker. The nice looking chicken head knobs are gain, treble, bass and volume, plus the overdrive button and a line/headphones out. No reverb, no fx, no fx loop, no footswitch... a very simple amp, straight to the point.

Vox Mini '70s - Really cool
Small backup and traveling amp that can be mains of battery powered. Not bulky. It sounds fine, but you shouldn't expect an extraordinary performance.
Marshall 5210 [1981-1991] - Excellent solid-state amp!
50W, 2 channels, solid-state. 9/10 because the footswitch is a bit light and not too practical for onstage.
